Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendy asserted that her ministry has implemented awareness-raising programs about the dangers of illegal migration for 18 female trainees between the ages of 18 and 45.
According to the emigration ministry’s statement on Tuesday, August 8, the programs come in light of cooperation between the Ministry of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs and the National Council for Women to implement the “Survival Boats” presidential initiative and the project titled “Addressing the economic motives of illegal migration” implemented in partnership with the European Union.
They are also carried out in line with other development programs that include training on entrepreneurship and financial education, the statement added.
