Soha Gendi Asserts Depth of Egyptian-EU Ties

State Minister of Emigration Soha Gendy asserted the depth of the Egyptian-European ties in several issues related to sustainable development, which set an example to the distinguished bilateral relations in light of the partnerships made to work with in addition to the continuous keenness on boosting cooperation ties, especially in the economic field and consulting on issues of mutual interest.

Her remarks came during the participation of Gendy, on behalf of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, in the EU ceremony on the occasion of Europe Day, attended by Social Solidarity Minister Nevine El Kabbaj, Head of the EU Delegation to Egypt Christian Berger and officials and diplomats from Egypt and several Arab and foreign countries.

The minister stated that Egypt has joint and distinguished files with the EU on the issues of emigration and trade exchange in addition to development, investment, and culture.

For his part, Berger thanked the Egyptian government for its efforts in the different files, topped by the partnership council of the EU.

He said that Egypt is a strategic partner for the EU, especially in the climate crisis, besides working on joint issues and reaching more memorandums of understanding in energy and gas.
