Presidential Decree Approves 4th Amendment of Egyptian-US Grant Deal

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has issued Decree No. 250 of 2024, approving the fourth amendment to a grant aid agreement focused on comprehensive economic governance between Egypt and the United States. The decree was officially published in the Egyptian government’s gazette on Thursday.

The Egyptian Parliament gave its approval for the decree on October 8, 2024, signaling a strong commitment to advancing the economic cooperation between the two nations. The amendment to the grant aid agreement is expected to further support Egypt’s ongoing economic reforms and development initiatives, particularly in the areas of governance and financial management.
