This event, the most significant annual gathering in the health sector in Africa, presents international expertise and contributions aimed at bolstering the medical industry in the African continent.

The “Africa Health ExCon 2024” conference, managed by the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply, and Technology Management (UPA), offers a valuable opportunity for companies operating in healthcare and medical services to explore investment prospects in Africa, thereby accelerating the growth of these industries across the continent.

According to the “State Information Service” website, the conference and exhibition assemble representatives from the medical and health sector, providing them an exceptional opportunity to discover the latest products and services across various medical domains.

The event is anticipated to draw over 500 major companies from various countries worldwide, along with more than 60,000 visitors from over 100 countries.

Various Egyptian state agencies are committed to supporting and organizing the conference, recognizing its significance in reinforcing Egypt’s position as a regional medical care center. Egypt successfully launched the first digital business platform to showcase experiences on the African continent and international contributions in the medical sector.

The primary objectives of the Africa Health ExCon 2024 conference and exhibition align with the African Union Agenda for 2063, particularly its ambition for a “prosperous Africa” based on achieving comprehensive growth and sustainable development. These objectives involve promoting the localization of medical industries, particularly pharmaceuticals, and addressing the African continent’s challenges.

The conference and exhibition also strive to enhance trade exchange among the various countries of the continent, a crucial aspect of the African Union’s agenda that supports the strengthening of the medical economy and promotes sustainable long-term development.

The “Africa Health” conference serves as a vital strategic platform for developing the health sector in Africa and fostering cooperation among various stakeholders to realize sustainable development goals. It underscores Egypt’s pioneering role in medical care and its capacity to deliver high-quality medical services to patients worldwide.
