Mervat Soltan was appointed as the Chairperson of Export Development Bank (EBE) in November 2016 to lead the necessary change required to help in boosting Egyptian Exports in line with the country strategy to double its exports by 2020. Furthermore, she was appointed as the Chairperson of Export Credit Guarantee Company of Egypt (ECGE) in October
2018, which is a subsidiary of EBE Bank.
