Maha Nagy has joined Orange as Chief Communication Officer by 1st of July 2017. She has earned her stripes in marketing with a rich 18 years’ experience in both FMCG and Telecom industries.
Nagy started her brand management career in Henkel then moved to Johnson & Johnson where she headed the marketing function for 6 years. After that she moved to Pepsico as the Marketing Manager for Pepsi Egypt & North Africa where she delivered unprecedented results with best in class campaigns. She then became the Marketing Innovations Director of Middle East Africa region for the entire Pepsico portfolio both beverages and snacks.
After 8 successful years in Pepsico, Nagy decided to join the telecom world where she worked at Vodafone Egypt for 3 years leading the brand communication function, developing brand communication strategy that successfully transformed the way the company operates through pioneering differentiated consumer segmented strategy delivering impressive business results, and improving all brand KPIs.
Nagy then moved to Orange Egypt to join Orange Leadership team as the Chief Communication Officer to lead and support the company in its new transformational strategy and put back Orange at the lead of the telecom industry once again.
Moreover, Nagy was the mastermind behind the popular 2015 Genie TVC series. Her inspiration came from a Mobinil campaign mocking both Vodafone and Etisalat by featuring a red giant and a green genie. She adopted the red genie character, which was a hit for two years in a row, appealing to the prepaid segment.
