
Ghada Howaidy
Associate Dean for Executive Education and External Relations at (AUC)
and Founder of the Egyptian Women on Boards Observatory
Ghada Howaidy has been Executive Director for Office of Strategic Alignment at the School of Business and Adjunct Faculty of Core Curriculum at the American University in Cairo since 2016.
Her expertise is in Organizational Change and Strategic Management with experience in local, regional and international development organizations in the areas of Higher Education, Human Rights, Management Development, Information Technology, and Export Promotion.
Before joining AUC in 2008, Howaidy was the Founding Director of International Relations at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Egypt.
Moreover, Howaidy served as a: Director of the Pre-Service Special Unit of the Integrated English Language Program funded by USAID, Director of Middle East Program Campaign for Amnesty International Organization from 1996 to 1997. She was also International Relations Coordinator of Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO).
She has a MA and MSc degrees in Middle East Studies and Public Management from the AUC and the London School of Economics, as well as senior executive training at Harvard Business School.
In 2015, Howaidy was awarded the DProf from Middlesex University after completing the Ashridge Doctorate in Organizational Change.
