The hospital has become a landmark in Kasr El Ainy Hospital, with a state of art operating theaters, the largest premature center with 55 incubators, the first fetal medicine unit in Egypt and an IVF center that serve patients with a low cost..
Later on, she became the Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department, Dar El Fouad Hospital, Cairo, Egypt, one of the top ranked private hospitals in Africa. In 2012,
Dr. Idris was assigned as the General Secretary of the National population council in Egypt, were she addressed her first task, which is the overpopulation, through placing a strategy tried to be applied in the 27 Governorate of Egypt and establishing several projects to fight against female circumcision.
Dr. Idris has become a symbol in the medical world in Egypt, becoming an icon in the business side, becoming a board member of the Business Women Association (BWE) and board member of many Charity Organization like Maan, an organization targeting to improving the lives of the people of the slums.
