Nevine El Nahass is the Assistant Minister of Health and Population. She obtained experience in project management and health systems, especially health system planning and financing. Her passion lies in upgrading the health system and healthcare services; This is in addition to the international experience in health systems that she gained through working for international bodies and organizations, such as the World Health Organization, along with acquiring leadership skills. Her most remarkable achievements are those associated with her roles in implementing Egypt’s universal health insurance system and the national project for the manufacture and assembly of plasma derivatives. Nevine also took part in the issuance of laws and policies related to upgrading the healthcare system. Nevine obtained a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and biotechnology from the German University in Egypt (GUC) and a master’s degree in health systems, planning, and finance from the University of London. She also enrolled in some diplomas and obtained certificates from international universities, such as Harvard University, at which she joined the clinical scientific research program.
