Dr. Eman is the Head of Central Department for Supervision and Regulation of Finance Companies, at the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority since 2012. Her professional experience spans more than 33 years in the fields of housing and non-bank financing. She began her career as an Architect at the Ministry of Housing in 1985 and moved up in positions until she was appointed as General Manager of the Technical Office at the Mortgage Finance Authority in 2004, then Head of the Central Department for Research and Studies in 2009. She participated in the formulation of mortgage laws, executive regulations, financial leasing and factoring laws, and Egypt’s first real estate evaluation criteria in 2015. Dr. Eman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, an MBA and a professional PhD in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Ain Shams University.
