Egyptian Minister of Planning and International Co-operation Rania Al-Mashat emphasized the wide range of Saudi investments in Egypt, with hundreds of Saudi companies operating in vital sectors in the country.
The minister expressed the government’s eagerness to strengthen partnerships and attract investments from the Saudi private sector. Al-Mashat made these comments during a meeting with Saudi Investment Minister Khalid A. Al-Falih and his accompanying delegation on Thursday.
The discussions focused on ways to enhance bilateral ties and partnerships, with a particular emphasis on investments in key sectors.
As per th Egyptian Gazette, Al-Mashat stated that Egypt is committed to improving the investment climate and encouraging local and foreign private sectors to increase their investments.
She further highlighted the importance of empowering the private sector as a means to achieve sustainable growth across various sectors and create more job opportunities.
Additionally, she mentioned that the government aims to establish a competitive investment environment to attract investments and thereby improve financial and economic performance. Al-Mashat also pointed out the promising opportunities for local and foreign investors.
