Yesterday, September 6th, the remarkably talented Nesma Mahgoub performed live at the Citadel Festival for Music & Singing.
Mahgoub performed a special set of her well-known songs, songs by the stars of the golden age, such as “Alf Leila wa Leila” (1001 nights), “Bel’Aks” (Opposite), and “Ahsan Nas” (The Best People), as well as songs by renowned Lebanese singer Fairouz.
Notably, Mahgoub’s participation in a talent contest, where she earned first place after a challenging competition with many participants from various Arab countries, marked her real breakthrough on the creative scene. Mahgoub has since been able to accumulate a sizable fan base.
The young artist has always been involved with music. She began singing when she was merely a 10-year-old, and she later spent seven years receiving training there. In addition to her proficiency at the piano, she could sing in several languages.
