The National Council for Women, in collaboration with the Rehabilitation Foundation for Developing Excellence Skills, held a workshop to enhance the capabilities of the project’s work team.
The workshop included members from the General Administration for Developing Women’s Skills and some employees from the Council’s departments in Cairo, as well as its branches in the targeted governorates of Beheira, Gharbia, Minya, and Luxor.
This initiative is part of the project “Addressing the Economic Motives of Illegal Migration,” which is being carried out by the Council in partnership with the European Union.
The workshop’s main objective was to facilitate brainstorming sessions and analyze data to establish a sustainable business model for the business development services units. These units provide various services to the project’s female beneficiaries in the four governorates.
Tamim Qandeel, a training and professional development consultant, attended the workshop. It covered topics such as the SWOT analysis, identification of strengths and weaknesses, and an explanation of the PESTEL analysis, a strategic tool that helps organizations understand how various elements can impact their work.
Additionally, the workshop focused on analyzing and evaluating potential risks that the project might encounter, finding strategies to address them, and identifying stakeholders, both individuals and entities, that could have an impact on or be affected by the project.
It’s important to note that the Ta’heel Foundation for Developing Excellence Skills is a prominent institution known for its local and international expertise.
The foundation’s goal is to offer sustainable solutions to combat illegal migration by developing business models, assessing labor market needs, and implementing workforce skills development programs.
