The Egyptian National Council for Women has just released a statement praising Nada Hafez, the Egyptian champion and swordsman, for her exceptional performance in the fencing competitions at the Paris Olympics.
The council expressed immense pride in Nada’s remarkable achievement, especially as she participated in the Olympic Games while being seven months pregnant, demonstrating her strength and determination.
Furthermore, they emphasized that Nada’s participation sends a powerful message about the strength of Egyptian women and their ability to succeed in various roles, even in challenging circumstances.
Notably, the 26-year-old doctor has previously participated in the Olympic Games three times: in Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, and now Paris 2024.
