Dr. Maya Morsi, President of the National Council for Women, left Egypt on Sunday morning and headed to New York, leading the Egyptian delegation to participate in the 67th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67).
The session takes place from 6 to 17 March under the title, “Innovation, Technological Development, and Education in the Digital Age to achieve equality between the sexes and empower all women and girls”.
Morsi is scheduled to deliver the speech of the Arab Republic of Egypt during the opening session, in addition to her participation next to the accompanying Egyptian delegation in many of the sessions and events held on the sidelines of the current session at the United Nations.
