Earlier this week, the Egyptian national campaign for improving living conditions in rural areas, Haya Karima, launched its first mental health initiative. The initiative is established under the title “Etkalem Hanesma’ak” which translates to (Speak Up, We Will Listen).
Etkalem Hanesma’ak aims to educate Egyptians of all ages about various mental health issues and present them with crucial knowledge, tools, and emotional support to deal with mental diseases.
It additionally highlights the importance of early mental disease detection.
It will further give parents the needed resources to interact with their kids.
The initiative’s team of psychotherapists has already evaluated 145 persons and assisted in connecting them with the right specialists.
