Gold Prices Slightly Decline in Egypt’s Local Markets

During Monday’s trade, gold prices slightly decreased in Egyptian local markets.

Member of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, Amir Rizk, declared that gold prices fell by 5 pounds on Monday, so that a gram of 21 karat gold recorded 2245 EGP, while the ounce decreased by roughly 2 US dollars, to record 1888 dollars.

In addition, he said that the price of a gram of 24 karat gold amounted to 2566 EGP, whereas the 18 karat gold reached 1924 EGP, the 14 karat gold was recorded at 1497 EGP, and Finally the price of a pound of gold was 17960 EGP.
