Egyptologist and former Minister of Antiquities Dr. Zahi Hawass will host an event titled “The Journey in Search of Queen Nefertiti” at the Nefertiti Cultural Salon.
During the event, Dr. Hawass will share the secrets of the search for Queen Nefertiti’s mummy and tomb and present a document detailing the return of the queen’s bust to Egypt.
The event is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, represented by the Cultural Development Fund; it will take place at the Prince Taz Palace Creativity Center on Al-Sioufia Street in the Sayeda Zeinab area, reported Sada El Balad.
Notably, the Nefertiti Cultural Salon, established in May 2023, is dedicated to discussing topics related to Egyptian civilization and its rich heritage through monthly dialogue events.
Radio broadcaster Wafaa Abdel Hamid and journalists Camelia Atris, Mushira Musa, Nevin Al-Aref, Amani Abdel Hamid, and Fathia Al-Dakhakhani usually moderate these events.
The Journey in Search of Queen Nefertiti event will open to the public at 7:00 PM on Saturday, September 7.
