Eng. Rania Amin El-Ghobashi Beats 1,500 Female Engineers from 33 Countries

Rania Amin El-Ghobashi, a 30-year-old engineer from Bagour Center, Menoufia, achieved an outstanding accomplishment. She became the youngest Egyptian, African, and Arab mechanical engineer to win the Stevie Award for Women in Business in the automotive industry. Eng. Rania competed against 1,500 engineers worldwide and emerged victorious after beating them all.

Eng. Rania’s work at General Motors Egypt is significantly impacting the automotive industry. She is involved in localizing the sector, producing local car spare parts, and engaging in reverse engineering. Her contributions are shaping the future of the automotive industry.

Journalist Ahmed Al-Bahi highlighted that she relied solely on her education at Menoufia Public University and was able to win a major award at a young age, surpassing graduates of international universities such as Harvard, MIT, and others.

The jury shared their opinion about her, stating that she succeeded in overcoming obstacles and that her inspiring energy and determination made her an excellent example for all women.
