The 90th Spring Flowers Exhibition, which opened on Saturday, turned Egypt’s Agriculture Museum into a flowering wonderland with an outstanding display of bright colors and scents.
The fair holds a lineup of over 200 exhibitors showcasing more than 1,000 captivating plant species. This botanical extravaganza includes ornamental plants, vibrant flowers, majestic trees, orchard cultivation tools, landscaping, and cacti.
Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation El-Sayyed El-Quseir along with Minister of Social Solidarity Nevine El-Kabbaj inaugurated the event.
The fair will run for one month from the 27th of May to the 27th of June. It is open daily from 9 am to 9 pm, with an EGP 10 ticket per person.
The exhibition aims to promote widespread afforestation and elevate Egypt’s green spaces under the banner of the 100 Million Trees initiative spearheaded by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi.
This is the first year the exhibition is being held at the Agriculture Museum in Giza’s Dokki, infusing new energy into the age-old event after decades at the eminent Al-Orman botanical garden.
This year’s edition is also taking place later in spring than recent editions, which took place in March or April.
The month-long floral extravaganza is open daily from 9 am to 9 pm, with a ticket price of EGP 10 per person.
