In the presence of Assistant Culture Minister Mohamed Abdel Dayem, Culture Minister Nevine Al-Killany and Country Director of the British Council Mark Howard explored ways to increase cooperation and cultural exchange between the two sides in the coming months.
The meeting also addressed the importance of activating more aspects of cooperation over the next three years, with both sides focusing on the creative economy axis.
On his part, Howard was eager to explain the executive situation of the current cooperation since the signing of a protocol between the ministry and the council in November, as well as the executive situation of a training program on supporting policymakers in the field of cultural and creative industries, which concluded on Tuesday and was attended by 25 trainees from the Culture Ministry and other governmental bodies, according to a Culture Ministry statement issued on October 2nd.
