Acclaimed Egyptian soprano Fatma Said will perform alongside Maria Agresta and Jonas Kaufmann, together with orchestra Teatro San Carlo led by maestro Giacomo Sagripanti at Giza Pyramids.
“I’m thrilled to announce my upcoming performance in my home country, Egypt, alongside iconic artists Maria Agresta and Jonas Kaufmann, together with orchestra Teatro San Carlo led by maestro Giacomo Sagripanti. We will perform in front of the unique backdrop of the Pyramids of Giza on October 11” Said wrote on her official Instagram account.
What we can call the most significant Italian event ever in Egypt will take place at the Giza pyramids on October 11, according to the “Eygpt Today” website.
The performance will feature the superstar soloists of Teatro San Carlo, the oldest venue for opera worldwide that has been continuously active since 1737.
Italian Ambassador to Egypt Michele Quaroni and Egyptian Tourism Authority CEO Amr El-Kady announced the highly anticipated concert.
The concert will strengthen the economic and tourism ties between the two countries.
