The first EgyptAir flight to Port Sudan left Cairo International Airport on Tuesday, September 5th, as part of plans to maximize revenues and increase economic growth by stimulating air traffic between different countries.
According to the Egyptian Gazette, EgyptAir flight No. 856 arrived in Port Sudan at exactly 7:30 a.m., carrying 115 passengers onboard, and received by the Egyptian ambassador and members of the Egyptian mission in Sudan, the governor of the Red Sea State, and the director of Port Sudan airport, where the airport authorities there received the plane.
During the arrival of the first EgyptAir flight to Port Sudan, the Egyptian Ambassador to Port Sudan confirmed in press statements that this line is one of the most prominent lines within the ongoing efforts of the national company EgyptAir.
On their part, Airport authorities in Sudan commemorated the event by spraying water to welcome the operation of this major line after the opening of the airspace of eastern Sudan.
