Egypt, UAE in Talks to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation in Tourism

The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Ashraf Fathy, held discussions with the UAE Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Mariam al Kaabi.

The focus of the meeting was on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of tourism and antiquities. During the meeting, both parties explored opportunities for tourism investments in Egypt and discussed strategies to strengthen bilateral cooperation in order to increase inbound tourism from the UAE.

According to MENA the two parties have also reached an agreement to establish a working group to explore ways to strengthen their bilateral relationship. The minister also emphasized the longstanding and diverse ties between Egypt and the UAE, spanning across various aspects.

The UAE ambassador extended her congratulations to the tourism minister on his appointment to the new position and expressed her best wishes for his success in this role. Additionally, she expressed hope for increased collaboration between the two parties in the near future.
