Led by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, the Egyptian government has announced a comprehensive review of the country’s sports strategies and preparations following the Paris 2024 Olympics. The initiative seeks to ensure Egypt’s readiness for future Olympic Games.
During a meeting with the Minister of Youth and Sports, Ashraf Sobhy, President Al-Sisi underscored the importance of reassessing Egypt’s Olympic preparedness. He highlighted the need to efficiently utilize funds, provide optimal support to athletes, and foster a conducive environment for sporting excellence.
The review will encompass elite athlete development, training facilities, coaching, and the management of national teams. A particular focus will be on identifying and nurturing young talent through targeted programs, ensuring they have access to world-class training and support.
