CIRA Education Reports Strong Consolidated Profit Growth, but Standalone Losses Widen in Q4 2024

CIRA Education has reported a notable surge in its consolidated net profits for the three-month period ending November 30th, 2024. The company recorded net profits attributable to the parent of EGP 178.466 million, reflecting a robust year-on-year (YoY) increase of 79.52% from EGP 99.411 million in the same period of the previous year. This growth was driven by a solid rise in revenues, which reached EGP 1.015 billion, compared to EGP 803.7 million in the corresponding quarter of 2023.

Despite the positive consolidated results, the company’s standalone performance showed a more challenging picture. For the same period, CIRA Education incurred standalone net losses of EGP 161.177 million, a significant increase from the EGP 109.054 million loss reported in the prior year. However, the standalone revenue figure saw growth, rising to EGP 239.762 million from EGP 172.743 million in the same quarter in 2023.

CIRA Education, a diversified Egyptian investment firm, operates across multiple sectors, including education, construction and real estate, healthcare, information technology, and support services. The company’s strong consolidated performance underscores its resilience amid sector-specific challenges and its capacity to drive revenue growth across its broad portfolio of investments.
