Cairo is slowly but steadily attracting the interest of travelers around the world as its hotel occupancy increased by 106 percent during 2022.
Thus, Cairo is soon set to inaugurate four new luxury hotels that are guaranteed to attract investment and tourism according to the Egyptian Streets website.
Moreover, the Egyptian government has put forth substantial efforts to enhance the investment climate and promote tourism. Egypt aspires to attract thirty million tourists per year by 2028 in order to establish itself as a popular tourism destination.
Cairo House
Known as Mugama’ El Tahrir, the landmark Tahrir Complex, Cairo’s largest government building, is being turned into a hotel with Cairo’s largest rooftop venue.
Cairo House will be a deluxe hotel with 450 hotel rooms and 50 suites, as well as world-class dining and entertainment venues.
Cairo House is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024.
Voco Cairo Arabella Plaza
This 77-key hotel, which features an all-day dining restaurant, several small-scale trademark eateries, and a rooftop bar, will be an appealing attraction for natives, especially given its location in New Cairo.
The Voco Cairo Arabella Plaza is set to open in July 2023.
Tycoon Tower Hotel
Tycoon Tower Hotel, situated in the middle of the New Administrative Capital (NAC), is expected to be Africa’s tallest hotel.
The hotel, which overlooks the Green River and has an infinity pool on its roof, is set to become an iconic addition to the future capital.
Grand Millennium, the worldwide five-star flagship brand, will manage and operate the hotel.
Crowne Plaza Cairo Arabella Clubhouse
Together with the previously mentioned voco, it is one of three properties under IHG Hotels and Resorts’ management partnership with Arabella Group.
This 146-key facility will be developed in New Cairo’s Arabella Complex and will have a big ballroom, a health club, a spa, and a swimming pool.
