Cairo started the 2nd edition of the “She Works Wonders” program, co-sponsored by the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Planning and Economic Development, and the National Council for Women, and financed by the PepsiCo Foundation.

It intends to enhance the participation of women in traditionally male-dominated fields such as sales, operations, and manufacturing, as well as technology, which was introduced this year in collaboration with key partner Vodafone Egypt.

Through collaborations with private sector enterprises and civil society organizations, this edition aims to increase the value delivered to participants and provide additional job prospects for them.

A notable presence of representatives from the business community, public leaders, and media representatives attended the occasion.

The goal for this edition is to increase the number of beneficiaries by 100%, representing 1,200 participants, which is double the target for the first edition.

It also aims to give countless training and job possibilities through new collaborations added to the program for the first time with various private sector organizations, the government sector, and civil society organizations.
