The management of the Arab Film Festival in Rotterdam announced for the public the presentation of a special and exciting event, entitled “Arab Women Film Days” from May 26 to 27.
The event allows the attendees to explore the culture of Arab women by showing three distinguished films from Egypt, Jordan, and the Maghreb. The events begin with the screening of the movie “Daughters of Abdel Rahman”. The film provides a unique look at the lives of women in Jordan and will be shown at the Lantern-Finster Theater in Rotterdam.
The movie “Curfew” by Egyptian director Amir Ramses, which tells a touching story about a mother and her daughter facing emotional challenges and family secrets during the curfew period in Egypt, will also be shown. In addition, Moroccan director Mohamed Nazif will screen the movie “Women of Suite C”.
Moreover, the audience will watch a feature honoring women through diverse personalities who share the experience of being in Ward C of a psychiatric hospital and their ability to support each other uniquely.
The “Arab Women Film Days” come as part of the Arab Film Festival, which will be held in Rotterdam from September 5 to 10, 2023.
