The Egyptian Minister of Emigration, Soha Gendi, emphasized the government’s achievements in attracting numerous international companies to the Egyptian market in recent years. She highlighted the state’s commitment to offering various facilitations and diverse investment opportunities for foreign investors and business professionals.
During the meeting, Gendi met with an Egyptian businessman, Samuel Matias, who is the owner of Cordon Electronics in Paris and an Egyptian investor abroad. The purpose of the meeting was to review the latest developments of the project and finalize the frameworks for the implementation stages in line with the strategy of the Ministry of Emigration to encourage investments in Egypt and leverage the expertise of Egyptians residing abroad across various sectors.
According to MENA Matias briefed Gendi on the recent progress of his project. He emphasized that the project’s primary objectives include serving the country, boosting investment levels, and generating substantial employment opportunities for the youth in Egypt, particularly in light of the country’s advancements in investment and infrastructure, aimed at attracting further investments.
The project represents one of the collaborative initiatives between international communication companies and a French partner. This collaboration aims to establish a factory for the re-manufacturing and recycling of smartphones in cooperation with an Egyptian investor.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Gendi conveyed a commitment to thoroughly outlining all forms of support for the project in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
