At the 4th edition of the CEO Women Conference 2025, Mirna Arif, General Manager of Microsoft Egypt, delivered a powerful message on the transformative role of women in technology and the importance of inclusive digital leadership.

Arif, a prominent figure in Egypt’s digital transformation journey, headlined the opening session titled “Women Leading the Digital Future in Technology,” setting the tone for the two-day event, which gathered top female executives, government leaders, and tech innovators from across the region.

Empowering Women Through Technology and Training

Arif underscored how Egypt is making significant progress in bridging the gender gap in tech, highlighting Microsoft’s involvement in initiatives such as “Qodwa Tech”, which equips women and girls with digital skills, entrepreneurial tools, and ICT knowledge to advance sustainable development.

She revealed that more than 30,000 women across Egypt have been trained in digital marketing, artificial intelligence, and e-commerce, opening the door to economic independence and job creation, particularly in underserved and rural communities.

Innovation Through Inclusion

In her address, Arif emphasized that true innovation is born from diversity. She acknowledged the challenges many women face in accessing leadership roles in tech and stressed the importance of mentorship, visibility, and cross-sector collaboration to close the gap.

Vision for a Digitally Inclusive Future

Calling for greater investment in women-led innovation, Arif positioned digital equity as a critical component of national and regional development. She praised the  CEO Women Conference for evolving into a regional hub for policy dialogue, training, and cross-border collaboration.

The CEO Women Conference 2025 continues to serve as a catalyst for digital inclusion, placing a spotlight on female leadership in the tech world. The National Council for Women’s participation reflects Egypt’s strategic commitment to empowering women as drivers of digital and economic transformation — not just locally, but across the region.
