Dr. Sulafah Jweili Appointed as Executive Director of National Youth Training Academy

Presidential Decree No. 336 of 2025, effective July 1,  was issued for appointing Dr. Sulafah  Jweili as Executive Director of the National Academy for Youth Training and Qualification for an initial term of one year, with ministerial-level remuneration.

A Celebrated Appointment

The National Council for Women, led by Advisor Amal Ammar, warmly congratulated Dr. Jweili on her appointment, highlighting the symbolic importance of this move for female leadership in Egypt. Advisor Ammar praised Jweili as an exemplary Egyptian woman whose robust academic credentials and high administrative competence embody both national trust in female talent and the capability of women to hold top leadership roles .

Distinguished Track Record

Dr. Jweili brings a rich and varied professional background to her new role. She previously directed the Nile International Certificate unit at the Education Development Fund under the Cabinet, overseeing the implementation of an international-standard education program developed with the University of Cambridge—an initiative that successfully balances global benchmarks with national identity .

Additionally, she served as an Assistant Professor in Educational Media (Radio & Television) at the Faculty of Specific Education, Cairo University. In these roles, she trained and mentored generations of students in the fields of media and education .

Global Advocacy and Youth‑Centric Education

Dr. Jweili represented Egypt in numerous international conferences on education and media, advocating for progressive pedagogical models. She successfully led a bilingual educational program integrating life skills, critical thinking, technology, arts, and sports—piloted in multiple governorates with strong community support .

 Vision Ahead

In her new capacity, Dr. Jweili will lead the Academy’s mission to prepare and qualify youth in leadership, management, and strategic planning—key objectives aligned with Egypt’s broader vision of empowering national talent for future leadership roles.
