El-Hammamy completed a remarkable comeback to defeat Gohar 8-11, 11-8, 3-11, 11-6, 11-8, overcoming a seven-match losing streak against her rival. Meanwhile, Farag triumphed in an intense men’s final, beating Elias 9-11, 12-10, 14-12, 11-1, to extend his dominance at the tournament. The victories come as a major milestone for both players, with El-Hammamy’s win marking her first title since December 2023 and Farag’s victory solidifying his place at the top of the squash world.
