The Official Gazette has published Presidential Decree No. 320 of 2024, which approves the agreement between the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman concerning the elimination of double taxation on income and the prevention and avoidance of tax evasion. The decree was published in Issue No. 3 on January 16, 2025.
Additionally, the Official Gazette published Presidential Decree No. 248 of 2024, which approves the first amendment to the assistance grant agreement between Egypt and the United States regarding the Climate Change Initiative. This was also included in Issue No. 3 on January 16, 2025.
Article 1 of the decree states the approval of the first amendment to the “Assistance Grant Agreement between the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Government of the United States of America regarding the Climate Change Initiative,” with a reservation subject to ratification.
