The Egyptian Ministry of Endowments is hosting the 35th international conference of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs, with the theme “The Role of Women in Building Awareness.” The meeting will be held in Cairo on August 25-26.
Over one hundred participants from 60 countries, including ministers, professors, leaders of Islamic bodies, councils, and institutions worldwide, and public figures are attending.
The conference aims to promote appreciation for women and their role in building families, societies, and nations.
During the conference, Egyptian Minister of Endowment Osama al-Azhari will engage with international leaders and scholars to discuss the vital role of women in promoting awareness and fostering harmony within Muslim communities.
It emphasizes the Egyptian state’s empowerment of women as a pioneering human rights experience and analyzes women’s role in promoting the principles of cohabitation, peacemaking, and reintegration in society.
