The Governor of Cairo, Ibrahim Saber, stressed that women are fundamental partners in construction and driving the wheel of development, noting that political leadership always seeks to empower women economically, socially, politically, and in leadership.
Saber’s remark came during his meeting with Dr. Maha Marwan, Rapporteur of the National Council for Women, Cairo Branch, in his office at the General Diwan of the Governorate, to offer congratulations on assuming the new position.
The Governor further stressed that over the past ten years, political leadership has been keen for Egyptian women to hold many leadership positions; they have concurred and proven themselves as executive leaders in nearly all fields.
