UMS Pledges Half of New Alamein Festival Proceeds to support Palestine

The New Alamein Festival is back for its second edition, kicking off on July 11th and promising a summer of entertainment on Egypt’s North Coast. This year’s festival goes beyond fun to make a difference, with organizers dedicating 60% of profits to supporting Palestinians in Gaza.

In a recent statement at a press conference, festival spokesperson Mona Abdelwahab announced that 60 percent of the festival’s profits will be dedicated to supporting Palestinians in Gaza. This noble initiative sets the festival apart and showcases its commitment to making a positive impact on society.

Launched in 2023 by UMS, the New Alamein Festival quickly established itself as a premier entertainment destination. Last year’s edition attracted a stellar lineup that included Tamer Hosny, Ahmed Saad, Omar Khairat, Elissa, and Nancy Ajram. The festival also offered exciting sports activities like beach soccer tournaments, captivating cultural events, and a fashion show featuring top Arab designers.
