Egyptian Minister of Social Solidarity Nevine El-Kabbag praised the Egyptian Red Crescent and its ongoing collaboration with the Palestine Red Crescent Society to ensure the delivery of humanitarian and relief assistance to the Gaza Strip.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in various areas of mutual interest and coordinating services for Palestinians, particularly children, who have crossed the Rafah Border Crossing, given the worsening humanitarian conditions in the enclave.
The meeting occurred alongside the third Arab Forum for Equality, hosted by Cairo, under the theme “Addressing inequality in times of multiple crises.” Kabbag commended the National Alliance for Civil Development and NGOs for supporting Palestinians through the Rafah crossing. She also highlighted the efforts of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in providing multiple services to Palestinian refugees in Egypt in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Population.
The Palestinian minister thanked Egypt for its ongoing support and efforts for the Palestinian cause. Hussien emphasized Egypt’s leading role in the Arab region under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
