Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Saturday, 08/6/2024, strongly condemning the Israeli attacks on Nuseirat Camp in central Gaza.
According to Al Ahram Online, the attacks resulted in the deaths of over 150 Palestinian civilians and the injury of hundreds more.
Egypt holds Israel legally and morally responsible for this assault, demanding that Israel comply with its obligations as an occupying power and cease the indiscriminate targeting of Palestinian civilians.
The statement also condemned the wanton destruction of infrastructure in the Gaza Strip and called on influential international parties and the Security Council to intervene urgently to stop the Israeli war against Gaza.
Egypt emphasized the necessity of responsible action to end this humanitarian crisis and achieve a complete ceasefire throughout the Gaza Strip. It also called for the unrestricted entry of humanitarian aid and relief supplies through all land crossings into the territory.
