Egypt has just launched an electronic litigation system in the State Council courts, as announced by its President, Adel Azab.

This announcement came during the opening of the new headquarters of the State Council in New Cairo.

Azab emphasized that digital transformation is necessary for judicial authorities and bodies due to its significant impact on expediting case adjudication, analyzing data, saving time and money, and promoting innovation.

He stressed that this system will serve justice and the law through technological means, raising the efficiency of the judicial work system, expediting adjudication in lawsuits, simplifying procedures for all parties, improving performance governance, and reducing paper usage.

Azab noted that this marks a historical shift in litigation procedures, from filing the case to issuance of the ruling. This initiative aligns with the state’s strategy for digital transformation and aims to achieve integrity and transparency and combat corruption to attain complete justice.
