The National Council for Women (NCW) has prepared a special infographic detailing over 50 presidential mandates from President El-Sisi to the Government and the National Council for Women’s Empowerment in Egypt. This infographic is titled “Harvesting the National Council for Women in 10 Years.”
Over the past decade, the issue of women’s empowerment in Egypt has gained significant momentum both locally and internationally. This movement began in June 2014, which was a golden era for Egyptian women.
During this time, the lives of women were restored, their rights and achievements were preserved, and much more was added. Today, women in Egypt continue to dream of even more progress thanks to a political will that values and respects women and sees their empowerment as a national duty.
Governments and non-governmental organizations have enacted laws, legislation, strategies, and programs to uphold women’s constitutional rights, including their access to leadership and decision-making positions without discrimination.
Additionally, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has consistently praised Egyptian women in all local and international forums for their role and efforts in building the nation. As a result, Egypt’s efforts to empower and protect women have gained global recognition, respect, and admiration.
