Bringing more than 19 years of professional experience to Sanofi Group, Dr. Walaa is the current group CFO for Egypt and Sudan.  She joined the group back in year 2000, where she held various local, regional, and international positions throughout her career, all of which provided unique development opportunities across a range of commercial operation and industrial affairs business models within the Pharmaceutical Industry. Dr. Walaa is responsible for Sanofi Group financial excellence across Egypt, Sudan, and Eritrea. Currently, she is supervising a work plan worth EGP 5 billion.  Prior to joining Sanofi Group, Dr. Walaa worked for Aventis Pharma Group and the National Societe Generale Bank. Dr. Walaa obtained a bachelor’s of commerce degree in accounting from Cairo University in 1999.
