The 10th edition of the International Festival for Drums kicked off on Saturday night, May 27, at Beir Youssef Theatre at Saladin’s Citadel, Under the slogan “Drums, Dialogue for Peace”.
The festival brings together representatives of different countries and cultures with their drum beats.
The activities will take place at different venues, including Al-Hanager Yard, Opera House premises, Al-Horeyya Garden, Beit-Al-Sinnary, Al-Sayeda Zeinab, and the Child Museum.
The event, scheduled to run till June 2nd, is the brainchild of director Entissar El-Sisi and is held under the auspices of the Egyptian Minister of Culture.
