The Egyptian Cabinet announced yesterday that employees will be given a paid holiday from 20 to 25 April on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr and Sinai Liberation Day.
It is worth mentioning that Muslims celebrate Eid El-Fitr religious holiday worldwide every year to mark the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. On the other hand, Sinai Liberation Day is celebrated to commemorate the release of the Egyptian land of Sinai from Israeli occupation.
The paid holiday applies to employees working in ministries, government agencies, public authorities, local administration units, public sector companies, private sector companies, and public business sector companies.
