In a statement issued Friday, Minister of Culture Nevine Al Kilany said the cultural convoys kickstarted Ramadan activities at villages of Haya Karima (A Decent Life) Initiative.
The minister stated that the main aim behind cultural convoys is to disseminate culture nationwide and deliver the cultural product to all parts of Egypt, especially areas deprived of diversified cultural services, noting that her ministry’s strategy would greatly help in raising awareness and further entrenching the Egyptian identity.
The activities will be held during the period between the 15th and the 28th of the holy month of Ramadan, added the statement.
The activities feature a number of cultural, recreational as well as artistic festivities in some 20 villages across seven governorates included in Haya Karima namely: Beheira, Qalyubia , Assiut, New Valley, Aswan, Beni Suef and Kafr el-Sheikh, the statement said.
