City Edge Developments Names Lubna Helal as New Board Chairman, Succeeding Ashraf Salman

City Edge Developments’ (CED) board of directors (BoD) has approved the appointment of Lubna Helal as its new chairman to replace Dr. Ashraf Salman who was recently appointed to the position of Board Chairman at the United Media Services as a successor of the current CBE‘s governor, Hassan Abdullah.

Lubna Helal joined the BoD of City Edge Developments by the end of 2020. Lubna Helal has been acting as the deputy governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) from 2015 to 2020, as she no longer holds this position upon her request.

City Edge Developments was established in 2017 by New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) with a 75% stake And Housing And Development Bank (HDB) with a 25% stake.
