President Abdel Fattah El sisi welcomed on Sunday George Fory the President of the Senate of Canada to discuss Egypt’s vital role in empowering women in the light of Egyptian women’s pivotal efforts in rebuilding the country and facing obstacles. They praised also women’s Sacrifices in enduring the consequences of economic reform and fighting terrorism which was reflected in the last constitutional amendments by determining 25% as the minimum percentage of women’s participation in the Egyptian parliament assuring that Egypt will continue empowering women and boosting their participation in the Egyptian society.
