The new Grand Egyptian Museum finally sets a date for holding its first-ever concert on January, 20. The highly anticipated event will bring together two of the most acclaimed, and internationally accomplished musicians in the Country.

Renowned Egyptian maestro, Nader Abbassi will be performing alongside his famed orchestra. Back in April 2021, the brilliant maestro managed to impress billions of Egyptians and worldwide viewers by leading the orchestra at the Pharaohs’ Golden Parade; a show that was deeply admired and praised by the Egyptian president, admired by the public, and brought great honor to Egypt.

Moreover, the concert will feature the fiercely talented Egyptian Opera singer, Fatma Said. The gifted soprano has a profile full of international achievements, including her recent performance in Hamburg, Germany, and Naples, Italy. She will have the honor of becoming the first Egyptian artist to sing at the Grand Egyptian Museum.

This concert will reinforce the Grand Egyptian Museum’s Vision of promoting Egyptian culture through the ages, including contemporary arts that are constantly growing. Egyptians are eager to witness such an important event and expect it to present high-level performances that are worthy of our Egyptian culture and prolific musical history.
