In preparation for the fourth edition of the Egyptian Women’s Summit, the Top 50 Women Forum has announced the launch of the largest national alliance between academic institutions and the private sector to empower women in STEM and artificial intelligence (AI).

The announcement comes as the forum prepares to hold an extensive coordination meeting on November 12 with presidents of more than 25 Egyptian and international universities. The session aims to craft a unified vision that enables future generations—particularly women—to navigate the digital era shaped by science, technology, innovation, and the knowledge economy.

The Egyptian Women’s Summit 2025, held under the patronage of the Egyptian Cabinet and organized by the Top 50  Women Forum in cooperation with the National Council for Women, will take place on December 13–14 at Nile University under the theme “STEM and Future Innovation Summit.”

The two-day summit will bring together over 5,000 female leaders and university students, along with ministerial representatives, regional and international participants, and key figures from both the public and private sectors. Attendees will include professionals across finance, economics, sports, arts, culture, media, and entrepreneurship, as well as delegations representing African and Arab women.

Forging Academia–Industry Partnerships

During the upcoming meeting, the forum and university presidents will discuss preparations for academic participation, focusing on strengthening partnerships between universities and private-sector institutions. The goal: to prepare graduates for rapidly evolving labor market demands driven by emerging technologies.

The forum also seeks to expand university engagement in the summit by inviting 5,000 students to participate actively in ministerial sessions, interactive workshops, innovation exhibitions, and competitions, as well as in a dedicated Employment and Career Fair for Women and Recent Graduates. This initiative aims to connect young women with job and training opportunities, while introducing them to Egypt’s achievements in women’s empowerment and digital transformation.

The discussions will set the groundwork for a comprehensive framework built around key pillars:

  • Integrating academic curricula with digital transformation and future skills.
  • Enabling students—especially women—to acquire advanced technical skills aligned with future job requirements.
  • Fostering joint business incubators to support female-led tech startups and innovation projects.

Empowering Women Through Innovation

Dina Abdel Fattah, Founder and Chairperson of the Top 50 Most Influential Women Forum, said the initiative represents “a turning point in women’s empowerment in technology and innovation.”

“Our goal is to engage 5,000 university students—not just as attendees, but as active contributors in policy dialogues, ministerial sessions, interactive innovation labs, and the national career fair,” said Dina Abdel Fattah, Founder and Chairperson of the Top 50 Women Forum. “We want young people to be part of shaping the conversation on the future of work and women’s leadership in technology and AI.”

Abdel Fattah emphasized that the summit aims to create a joint vision between government, academia, and industry to promote women’s leadership and professional advancement, while serving as a cross-generational platform for young women to engage with inspiring female leaders and innovators.

Career Empowerment

For the second consecutive year, the summit will feature a dedicated Employment Fair for Women and Recent Graduates, offering direct access to companies, professional consultations, and training opportunities. Participating organizations will showcase available job openings and career development programs, forming what organizers describe as Egypt’s most comprehensive employment and training map for women.

Expected Outcomes

The November 12 meeting is expected to result in a series of cooperation agreements between the forum and participating universities. These will be formally signed during the December summit.

The event’s agenda will include specialized panels on artificial intelligence, digital economy, sustainable energy, health technology, and innovative education. University students will also take part in hands-on workshops to develop technical and entrepreneurial skills. Additionally, a Technology and Innovation Exhibition will showcase university and corporate research projects, alongside an Employment Fair supported by Egypt’s leading public and private institutions.
