As part of the Qodwa-Tech initiative for women’s empowerment, the Artificial Intelligence for Digital Marketing and E-Commerce training program has been launched in collaboration with Ta’heal for VET Skills Excellence, Zamit platform, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The program targets women entrepreneurs running handicraft and service-based projects participating in the initiative.
The training is delivered online through four morning and evening groups, with a total of 160 participants. Among them are girls aged 16 to 18 from the Traditional Crafts Applied Technology School, as well as entrepreneurs selling their products on the Zamit platform.
The program aims to equip young women with the skills needed for the job market in line with local and global demands, prepare qualified technical professionals, and enable female entrepreneurs to keep pace with rapid technological advancements across digital platforms, applications, and online services. It also helps small business owners harness AI tools for digital marketing and e-commerce to boost productivity and drive digital transformation in support of sustainable development.
The training covers the latest AI tools and applications that support digital marketing and e-commerce, and introduces participants to the fundamentals of smart digital marketing to expand their online presence and reach on social media. It also includes modules on product development, audience analysis, promotional content creation, and AI-driven social media strategies. In addition, the program provides insights into the basics of e-commerce, criteria for choosing suitable platforms for product promotion, and the role of e-commerce in enabling small businesses to expand globally.
